New samples
The most striking colors are dye painted. I've tried Fabric acrylics, Inktense, and I always come back to dye paint. Bird of Paradise is dye painted.
The Inktense design was drawn in idraw on the iPad. I used the inktense pencils. I'm thinking they are not great for blocks of color but more for defining areas.
