Shimmer Quilt

Ever since I saw what's referred to a "Shimmer" quilt, I knew I wanted to make one. The pattern by Jenny Bowker is available on Craftsy. This is a visually, value and color placement challenge to get it to sparkle. I think a design wall is a must.

(I can tell from the photo the green fabric in the lower right needed to be more of a medium value.) I'm not changing it now, this is the first of several. I want to adapt the pattern to a modern design.

Jack the cat loves my sewing set-up on the dining room table. He loves laying in the sun on all the fabric. Maybe he likes the purr of the Juki too!
