First I flew in 3 days early to experience Barcelona and get over jet lag. I love Barcelona!
We stayed at a hotel in the old Gothic Quarter across from this church. Always something going on in the square there. Almost all tourists - real Barcelona inhabitants go to the cool mountains for hot August.
The big, big Basilica is the Sagrada Famalia, designed by Gaudi and still not finished. Our tour guide said now it is to be completed in ten years. The facade varies in architecture style by word of gospel.
The light in the main area is just beautiful with stainglass windows. I've never seen a more beautifully lit inside church.
