Sarasota Modern Quilt Guild Challenge #1

SMQG first challenge was to make a traditional block Modern, using all solids and not larger than 24". I chose drunkards path as I had just finished the turquoise top in that style.

I added more circles in the quilting which work well, enhancing the drunkards path blocks imho. The circle rulers are from Gina Perkes TheCopperNeedle.com. I like the fact they are solid and easy to hold while quilting.

I think everyone did a great job!

The next challenge, due in December, is a black and white quilt with a pop of color and negative lots of space. It will be fun to design and create as I love a touch of black and white in quilts.
