Quilting again

Love my visitors but 

It's always so comfortable to get back into the quilt, design, sew routine. Spanish Rose, the Bonnie Hunter pattern from the cruise needed wonky border help.

Reworked the borders so it measures square though the photo does not appear so. It's on the frame now and I'm using a Pro echo ruler by Lisa Calle to ditch and echo appliqué.

Also started the Modern Quilt "Michael Miller" challenge. Since the main grey fabric is angular in design, I went curvy. Here's some photos used to help me to finalize design....not there yet.

Design is still not there but closer to my idea. I could use more fabric in grey but too late to order. I'll take it as a challenge to "make it work."

Designed a quick Qdad photo spark- I was thinking the bus, wish it was a train as in the spark photo, could be done as a background shadow in microstippling.
