Two Retreat tops done, now for the quilt design

After a week ago SMQG Retreat, my goal this past week was to get the quilt tops started there finished...first up was the fantasy flower exchange. We made one large flower and cut it into quarters for drawing. I put two in draw box then added my own two so the quilt would be large enough to use. For cohesion I added some of my black and white prints to the flower quarters I drew. The flowers are fused and I outlined them in black. Love black and white prints and this Moda grunge border! 

 

Now to plan the quilting stitches....I'm thinking add in background flowers and a leafy border.

 

Also finished Fibonacci quilt top

 

Quilt ideas are diaganol swirls with rest in block swirls.
