I changed up the family room into a studio! My sisters thought I was crazy but from my point of view I did not care to view the "tv shrine" all day. I watch tv in the evenings and thought a design wall would give me more joy. And it has....instead of looking at brown all day, I have a light space to play with fabric and design. From this

I also changed out my breakfast table with a counter height makeshift work table....60" square. No more backaches from bending to cut and I can square up quilts easier.
The visit to Grandies was wonderful....! We had sunshine in Seattle area and visited many parks and the zoo. Mostly I held the new little bear cub and watched Nemo and The Little Mermaid with big sister!
