To finished quilt!
He's just so darn cute...and I keep reviewing what I could change or adjust in the design e.g. Smaller head, longer back legs....but I am very pleased with this first sketch to finished quilt.
Detail of stitching....grateful to Pinterest and Bloglovin for the ease to research and discover all types and styles of quilt stitching.
But....my new best bud is idraw. While working on this I decided to draw up a mini Kitty Stripe with straight lines in the profile. 20" square
The leaves are catnip, of course!
Stencil cut from freezer paper with Shiva paint sticks.
Think I like the black and lavender colors better but these are paint sticks I had from class with Melody Crust a while back. I think this could be pieced, paper pieced, appliquéd - whatever method you enjoy.
