Dye Painting Cut-Ups

Seems like I have so many small practice pieces for dye painting and with my new love for modern quilting and "improv piecing" I just sliced them up. Except for the cat, of course, that might look weird.

(As she did not further explore this medium, I think Hollis Chatelain 's new DVD will be the best . I really enjoyed my dye painting class with Hollis at the Charlotte Quilt Show.)

So far I like this layout best. It will change some as piecing is not cut to a specific size. I want it longer too so will have to look thru more painted samples.....how many can one have until they are no longer samples?
