For the love of batiks

After using dye samples to make three quilt tops, I asked myself WHY have I not used the many batiks I have? The most obvious answer is because I love them and don't want to cut them up. They are fat quarters from Keepsake Quilting when I was on one of their monthly buy sprees that lasted a couple of years. The colors are gorgeous and I think I was thinking landscape quilts with these color ways.

Argh I still don't want to cut them up but at the same time I want them out so I can enjoy them. So with a love for Argyle style, here's the latest on the design wall.
I need a step stool to start higher on design wall...lol
What I love about a design wall is I can still move blocks around to play with color variance.

Within the Modern Quilt Guild there are designers who design A Quilt A Day (QDAD)and post it to Facebook. It's really forced me to learn more techniques on idraw. Here is one I call
"deconstructed argyle".
