Small Quilts

The Friendship Knot Quilt Guild has a Mini Quilt Sale at their show.  These donated quilts sell to the highest bidder and contribute to the guild fund for education. It's a fun way for me to make a technique Quilt...try something new or challenging on a small scale.
This first one is a coloring Quilt. It's about 18" and partially colored in with Tulip fabric markers. The quilt was completely finished before the quilting began....no need to do a binding or facing after the quilting. This technique is illustrated by Ricky Tims on The Quilt Show #1907.
The next two quilts are white on white but could be coloring quilts. They are 18" square and examples of longarm quilting placement. I'll add a small pack of the kids washable crayons to the number one. Center number is a design by Anne Bright as are the circles.

This one is a beautiful design named Evelyn's Doily by Sue Schmieden from The Quilt Connection. I added feather blocks that came with the Quilt Motion software.
Now to get the binding made and sewn on.

Another cute cat photo....Jon Snow trying out an iPad game.
He quickly realized he'd never catch the moth for real!
