I have so much fun doing the mini quilts for the "I Love this Fabric" class I teach, the ideas multiply like rabbits. The December class was full of colorful fun fabrics, I can't wait to see the finished Quilts. I hope they bring them to our January SMQG meeting. Another class is scheduled for Tues, Jan 24 if you want to join the fun.
I made another design wall 4' x 8' out of batting covered foam board for all these Mini Quilt ideas. Also see the tracing paper on the right over the small star Quilt challenge.....I'm working on Quilt stitch ideas.

Qdad (the Quilt Design a Day Facebook group) has a word challenge this month. Here's some of my designs.
The one below word is "favorite" and Mote Aquarium is one of mine favorite places to take photos. I stylized the photo then positioned "Nemo" to appear to be swimming out of a Drunkards Path cave.
The word is "beach". I'm working on NOT doing literal interpretations- this is the essence of beach and waves.
Cold Weather. My visiting brother returned home to the cold vortex, I'm so thankful I live here!
