Old to New again

An old quilt top in pieces is given new life. When I first saw the teal green, I wasn’t a fan of that color. So I focused on the inside stars and lined them to turn inside out to appliqué. 

The background is an interesting fabric. It is flannel on one side only! I have never seen that before so I bought two different colors and on one stripe the flannel side up and the other is with the flannel side down. I thought it made for a cool background for these vintage appliquéd stars. 

Here’s pieces from the vintage quilt top. I’ve got enough left to do another quilt. Should I use the teal green this time?
