Guild Challenge - Mystery Fabric
SMQG July challenge was that of mystery fabric from a blind draw. Not truly ugly fabric but that which had been donated to the group. The challenge was to make it into a "modern" quilt. Well, how to disguise bright color fish and lighthouses?
It also came with the light and medium blue fabric. The most fabric of 1 yard + was the fish and lighthouse. Here's the result.....
Yeah! I think it works. Although the fish and lighthouse fabric are identifiable - the overall design is not nautical but more modern. I like the diagonal set. Works for me!
